Privacy Policy

This website belongs to me, Liliana Cotoară, an independent learning consultant working under the name Learning Core. Here is, in plain language, what information I collect and how I look after it.

Who is responsible

I am. When this policy says “I” or “me,” it means Liliana Cotoară (Learning Core). You can reach me at contact@learning-core.com or +1 (778) 681 7541.

What I collect

I only collect what you choose to send me, through the contact form on this site, by email or by phone. On the form, that is:

  • your name and email address
  • your company name (optional)
  • what your message is about and your timing
  • anything you write in your message

Please don’t include sensitive personal information (such as health or financial details) in your message.

How I use it

I use your information only to reply to you and to talk about a possible project or role. I don’t add you to a mailing list, I don’t send marketing emails, and I never sell or rent your information.

Where your information goes

  • Messages from the contact form are sent to my business email (contact@learning-core.com), which forwards them to my email inbox (Gmail, provided by Google). Form messages are not stored on the website itself.
  • The website is hosted by Krystal Hosting on servers in New York, USA. Like most hosts, they keep standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages visited) for security and troubleshooting.
  • A spam filter on the contact form checks submissions to block automated spam.
  • The website’s fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address when the page loads.
  • I use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used: for example, which pages are visited, roughly which city or country visitors come from, what device they use and how they found the site. It doesn’t tell me who you are, and I don’t use it for advertising. Google processes this data on its servers.

This means your information may be stored or processed outside Canada, including in the United States.

Links to other websites

This site links to other websites, such as LinkedIn and an interactive learning sample hosted on claude.ai. When you visit them, their own privacy policies apply.

Cookies

This site uses Google Analytics cookies to produce anonymous visit statistics. It does not use advertising cookies. For details, and how to opt out, see my Cookie Policy.

How long I keep it

I keep our emails for as long as they are useful for our conversation and any work we do together. You can ask me to delete them at any time.

Your choices

You can ask to see the information I have about you, correct it or have it deleted. Just email me at contact@learning-core.com and I will respond within 30 days. If you have a concern I can’t resolve, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Changes to this policy

If I change how I handle information, I will update this page and the date at the top.
