Turning complex safety regulations into learning people can apply

The challenge

Training content was highly technical and rooted in regulation, which made it hard to apply in practice. Most of it relied on instructor-led delivery, limiting reach for remote audiences. The goal: modernize the training without losing accuracy.

The process

With SMEs and stakeholders, I analysed training needs and defined performance-based objectives. I then turned regulatory content into structured, learner-centred experiences using adult learning principles, with scenarios, knowledge checks and visual supports, refining each one with the team until it was both accurate and easy to use.
